ABOUT THE BLOG
Astronomy: More Than A Passion
Beyond Our World is a student-led blog dedicated to making astronomy, astrophysics, space history, and space science more accessible to students and general readers. The blog was created in order to share clear, engaging, and informative articles that explain space-related topics in a way that is easy to understand without relying too much on technical language. The blog posts are written in a way so that it's quick and easy to enjoy anywhere, whether you are drinking your morning coffee, commuting to school or work, or simply taking a short break during the day.
Covering everything from black holes and planets to astronauts, discoveries, and major space missions, the goal of the blog is to encourage curiosity about the universe and make science feel more approachable, especially since space science often has a reputation for being extremely difficult to understand.
The blog was founded by Cyrine Badji, who is also its lead writer and lead editor. She started Beyond Our World out of her strong personal interest in astronomy and her desire to stay connected to that passion through writing and science communication. Through this project, she combines her interest in space with her skills in writing, leadership, and education, while also building a platform that helps other students learn more about the universe.
